Stable union

It is the term used to describe the coexistence between people with the objective of constituting a family, without the obligation to live together.

Every stable union generates rights and obligations among its cohabitants, whether in relation to heritage and assistance, or the survival of one or the other. Even if the stable union is not formalized by means of a public deed or contract of coexistence,   can be recognized in the judicial sphere, through its own action.

So that there are no surprises in the future, the couple or one of the cohabitants should seek a specialist in the area, in order to prepare a stable union contract or coexistence contract for later registration in a notary public. The contract will include the property regime adopted by the couple, rights and obligations.

In cases of omission of the regime, the regime of partial communion applies to property relations.
